In chaos magick, a sigil is a type of visual spell that is charged by intent. This method is also found in more ancient magical practices, such as in the arcane staves of the Icelandic Galdrabók and the mystical glyphs of The Key of Solomon.

These sigils can be interpreted as spells for communication and receptivity, empowering the user with clarity of intent and an openness to receive knowledge and opportunities.
