Ghosts in the machine call out from an improvised obelisk, desperate to be heard.

In Ancient Egypt, the obelisk structure symbolically connected the Heavens and Earth, and today it is still believed by New Age practitioners that the pointed tip can be used to direct spiritual energy.

The work is dormant for extended periods of time, with only static noise on the screens. When activated, glitching snippets of popular film and television appear to relay messages from the other side.
