SIGILS FOR COMMUNICATION

Filmed through a crystal ball, subtle movements and vibrations cause images of a skull to warp and shift. Through these movements, the skull is 're-animated' and given new life.

A necromantic ritual for the digital age, this process compares our modern daily rituals to those of magical or shamanic practices; are there commonalities between the ways shamans traverse other worlds, and the ways we escape reality through technology?
